The owner and the office

Everything that keeps the school running, on one dashboard.

  • “Needs you today” — approvals, payments to confirm, stars to approve, classes with the register not marked.
  • Fees — fees per term, class or cab route. Parents pay your own UPI ID; you confirm and a numbered receipt is sent. Cash and cheque too. “Who has paid” with export, and a reminder to a family in one tap.
  • People — approve staff and families, add teachers one by one or from a pasted list, move a child, reset a password, invite codes for families.
  • Classes and the year — classes, terms, holidays (India’s national holidays filled in), promote or graduate children at year end.
  • Notices and calendar — reach every family at once.
  • Topic order and pace — drag the topics into your own order for each class; they open by themselves at the class’s pace. See what was taught this term.
  • See the child’s screen — exactly what a child of any year sees, with no child named and nothing saved.
  • School overview — daily use, sign-ups and how each class is doing, printable as a PDF.
  • Star of the month — teachers nominate, you approve, and the family gets a certificate.
  • School cab — routes and pickup order (or plan them automatically), the driver’s phone shares the cab’s place while driving, families see it coming. The cab attendant needs no account: a route code, a nearest-first pickup list that skips children on leave, an “On board” tick that alerts the family, and the pickup pass checked at drop-off.
  • Pickups — a pickup card or a one-day pass (QR) for whoever collects; scan it at the gate.
  • ID cards — families give the photo and details on their phone; print every class at real ID-card size, nine to an A4 sheet, fronts and backs.
  • Ask Medha and feedback — an AI helper for questions about your school, and an inbox of messages from your families and staff.
  • Audit log — sign-ins, consent changes, role changes and exports, as the law asks.
  • File tools — Word ⇄ PDF and “make a file under 200 KB”, in the browser.

The teacher

The day’s teaching ready to go, and the paperwork done for you.

  • Find a topic — every topic of the year in Hindi, English, Maths and EVS. Preview exactly what the child sees, then “Mark taught”: it opens for the class and families see it that evening.
  • Your own topics — add your own questions and pictures; hide what doesn’t suit your class.
  • Each child in one word — needs a hand, getting there or confident. Play as a child on your device.
  • “Practise this” — send a topic to the top of one child’s home, until they have played it on two days.
  • Daily report and Medha’s class read — who played today and which skills, and an AI write-up of what to focus on next.
  • Class health — who needs a hand and one thing to try; each child compared only with themselves.
  • PTA notes — a printable five-minute meeting script for every child, in kind words.
  • Holistic Progress Card — growth in words, built from what each child really did, plus your observations.
  • Register and daily care — attendance in a tap, daily care cards (mood, meals, nap, a note), “unwell” alerts to the family, scan pickup passes.
  • Homework — set it with a due date; families send back a photo of the finished work.
  • Classroom TV — the whole class plays together; nothing is saved against any child.
  • Families and notices — invite parents and approve join requests; post a notice to every family or one year, marked urgent if needed.
  • Star of the month — nominate a child, with kind sentences ready to use.
  • Alerts — a family waiting, a leave applied, someone at the gate to collect a child.
  • Ask Medha — a few questions a day to an AI helper, with children’s names hidden from it.

The parent

The child’s day, and simple ways to help at home.

  • Today — reached school, what was taught (▶ play it at home), the daily care card, who collected.
  • Do together this week — a five-minute idea for home, and a “Medha Moment” to celebrate.
  • Growth journey — Seed, Sprout, Bud, Bloom; and, in UKG, how ready the child is for big school — in plain words.
  • Holistic Progress Card — the same card the school sees. Print or save as PDF.
  • Find a topic — search in English or Hindi and play it with your child in one tap; see every topic taught so far.
  • Today’s story, stickers and the games ahead — what happened in today’s story, every sticker won, and how new games open as your child grows.
  • Star of the month — open, print or share the certificate when your child is chosen.
  • Your child’s learning settings and support plan — set them yourself, or together with the teacher.
  • Ask Medha — a few questions a day about your child’s learning.
  • Fees — pay the school’s UPI ID from any UPI app; the receipt arrives when the school confirms.
  • Alerts on the phone — reached school, collected, unwell, the cab nearly here, taught today, fees and notices; quiet at night except what is urgent.
  • Cab, pickups, leave — see the cab coming, give a pickup pass, apply for leave.
  • Screen time you set — your child’s own daily limit (30 minutes by default, following the PRAGYATA guidelines), a 4-digit PIN to start play or add time, and Kid Lock to keep the child inside Medha. When time is up, play stops. Pause today’s play any time.
  • Play on TV — scan the TV’s QR once; the TV opens straight to “Who is playing?”, and the phone or the TV remote drives it. TV play uses the same daily time and says good night when it is up, so the TV does not keep running for hours.
  • Notices, calendar, timetable, homework, ID card details — all in one place.
  • Your child’s data — agree first; see it, download it or erase it any time.

The child

Learning that feels like play — and is spoken, so even early readers can play alone.

  • 52 learning games in nine rows: sounds and listening, looking and matching, reading, words and stories, thinking, numbers, colours and art, feelings and friends, my world.
  • A gentle ladder — a new game opens after the last one has been enjoyed on two days. Never by score.
  • Eight animated friends — Chintu the monkey and his friends act out every game as a little story.
  • Story time — a story in episodes with Golu, and picture books read aloud in English and Hindi.
  • Writing practice — pre-writing strokes and letter tracing with Chintu.
  • Body safety — “My Body, My Rules”, gently, for the child, with a guide for the parent.
  • Stickers for trying — effort is celebrated, never a count of right answers.
  • The Grove — a little world that grows as the child plays; no numbers, and it never wilts.
  • A gift each day and a theme each week — Fruit Week, Animal Week and more: the same skills in a fresh look every Monday.
  • “Let’s practise this today!” — the topic the teacher picked comes first.
  • Easy for every child — voice speed, easier tapping and calm screens, right on the child’s screen.
Made for preschools

Playgroup to UKG, in your words.

  • Your school years — Playgroup, Nursery, LKG and UKG; topics open by the child’s own year.
  • Ready for big school — in UKG, families see how ready their child is, in plain words. preschool
  • The national early-years framework — the Holistic Progress Card follows NCF-FS, in words, never marks.
  • Hindi, English, Maths and EVS topics from your syllabus, with letter tracing and body safety.
  • The whole class on the TV — play together in class; nothing is saved against any child.
Support for any child

Every child can play — including those who need more help.

Any child in a preschool can have their own learning settings: fewer choices, more time, captions, calm screens, one-button play, picture cards to talk with, and a support plan when a teacher switches it on. Other children see no difference.

Progress from real play

Reports built from what the child really does.

No tests and no exam days. Every game a child plays quietly shows what they can do, and Medha turns that into reports teachers, therapists and families can trust.

Every game counts

Each answer in a game is evidence for a skill: sounds, letters, counting, colours, matching, feelings and more. It is kept only after the parent agrees.

Over days, not one try

A skill moves Seed → Sprout → Bud → Bloom only when the child shows it again on different days, so one tired or lucky day changes nothing.

Reports in plain words

The Holistic Progress Card (following NCF-FS), each day’s games for families and PTA notes, all filled from play. The teacher adds what they see in class. No marks, no percentages.

For the teacher and the family

The teacher sees each child’s skills and one thing to try next; PTA notes come ready. Families see what their child played each day and how they are growing, in plain words.

Getting started

Up and running in a week.

  1. We set up your school — classes, the school year, fees and the cab, with you.
  2. Your teachers join — from one pasted list; each changes the password on first sign-in.
  3. Families join — with a class code or a child’s invite; sign-in is by an SMS code to their phone.
  4. Day one — mark the register, tick a topic taught, and families see their child’s day that evening.
Good to know

Honest notes.

  • No marks, by design. Medha is for Playgroup to UKG; progress is always in words.
  • A web app. It opens in any phone’s browser and can be added to the home screen — no app store.
  • Kid Lock keeps the child inside Medha; on an iPhone it cannot block the phone’s own home button.
  • WhatsApp and phone alerts are switched on per school; families always get the same news inside the app.
  • Online card payments (Razorpay) are optional, with your school’s own account. UPI to your own ID works without it.
  • Help on every screen — a guided tour and a “?” beside each section, and a Feedback page that reaches the school.
  • Messages are one-way — notices and alerts from the school; there is no parent–teacher chat.

See it in your own school, free for two months.

Set up with you, staff and families helped to join, a check-in every two weeks — and your data exported if you decide not to continue.
